Guest Speaker

We were so happy to welcome Andrea, (Kenzie's mom) into our class to speak to us about the many jobs at Parliament. The students were very engaged as she shared with us how a bill is passed, and all the background work that is put into it. Very impressive questions were brought forward by many students who all now have a better understanding of the importance of our government. Next week we will get to see all of it in action, as the students will be attending the workshop "Passing a Bill," and tour the parliament buildings.
