Biographies and Timeline

Students have been exploring biographies of famous Canadians and Americans. They have been looking at how biographies are formatted and why they are important for learning about the past.  

We are now looking at writing biographies about family members. First we looked at the important information we need to construct a biography, then how to structure our information. 

I gave the students a challenge to complete a timeline of my own life using important events. Students had fun using their reasoning skills to correctly complete the timeline.
