Caption-It

Our kick-off for the unit about Media and Advertising was a real hit! Students enjoyed looking at newspaper pictures, discussing what they saw vs what they inferred, and finally creating eye-catching titles and humorous captions. It was interesting to compare the different perceptions of the pictures, and how an image can elicit different ideas and thoughts for each person.
