The students have begun their projects for their Transportation Unit. We have been exploring how we use different forms of transportation and how it impacts our lives. We have made the connection that as transportation changes, so do our lives and vice versa.
For the project, partners have chosen an important type of transportation, and are researching how it has changed over time. I look forward to seeing their poster boards and hearing their presentations.

After reading a few different stories in class, we brainstormed as many different forms as transportation as we could. After compiling our list, we sorted our Transportation vocabulary into three groups: Air, Water, Land. Hmmm, we wonder why there are so many more types of land transportation? We will find out soon!
